Good to know about Holland
- Electric - Holland. The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission's electric service territory map places Holland in the territory of Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana (now CenterPoint Energy). Source
- Water system. EPA records list Holland Water Works (PWS IN5219006) as a local-government community water system that buys surface water, serving a population of about 1,200, with no violations recorded from April 2023 through March 2026 and a 90th-percentile lead level of 0.0024 mg/L (2.4 ppb) for 2023-2025. - Purchased water. In 2018 The Herald reported that Holland no longer treats its own water and buys it from Patoka Lake Regional Water and Sewer District and St. Henry Water Corp., serving about 300 Holland customers plus about 160 in the Stendal area and 120 rural customers. Source
- Town water and sewer. Holland's town government runs both a water utility and a wastewater (sewer) utility, according to the State Board of Accounts audit for 2018-2019. Source
